Coming from Austria during the second day of Cross Encounter, Nancy shares a brief but powerful reflection on what Eugene Peterson called “a long obedience in the same direction.” In a culture obsessed with quick fixes, formulas, and instant results, she reminds listeners that true discipleship is not about figuring out how to make life work—it is about being brought into deeper oneness with the Father. Nancy challenges the mindset that seeks techniques apart from relationship, revealing that God’s primary desire is not merely to solve problems but to draw His sons closer to Himself. This episode is an invitation to surrender impatience, embrace His pace, and discover the beauty of remaining with Him through every season of growth and development.
